ES CANAR.- Is a great holiday resort - not too big and not too small, our many repeat visitors will testify how nice it is to be welcomed back again by the same staff year after year.
Positioned on the north east of Ibizas turquoise coast. Home of the famous Wednesday 'Hippy' Market, Es Cana is served by a regular daytime ferries that links to the other east coast resorts as far down as Ibiza town. It is also possible to take the ferry on a daytrip over to the island of Formentera.
Also recommended by many of our guests is the Mini train excursion - departing twice daily from just across the road from the apartments, there are two different itineraries to choose from.
The local bus service is regular and economical and links Es Canar to its neighbouring town of Santa Eulalia, from there you can get connections to other places.
Es Canas golden sand beach shelves gently into the bay. There is a choice of water sports from pedalo rental to waterskiing and thrill rides from the 'Banana boat' to 'The donuts'. Snorkelling and fishing are popular around the rocky areas just outside the bay.
There are also several alternative beaches within easy walking distance if you want a change of scenery or are looking for different water sports.
CALA MARTINA.- With its calm waters is where the popular P.A.D.I 'Punta Dive' scuba centre and the Punta Arabi windsurfing school are based.
